Ronald McDonald House Charities Service Project

On October 31, 2014 Cowboy Pledge workers visited each Cowboy Properties Apartment Community in the greater Salt Lake area including Ogden, Park City, and Heber Utah, to gather items that had been donated for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Cowboy Properties sponsored this effort through Cowboy Pledge who's purpose is to provide opportunities for their apartment residents to share in the good feeling that comes from becoming involved in the larger community and helping others in need.
The goal was to provide as many items as possible for use in welcome bags and entertainment bags for families and individuals who stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City, Utah. Residents responded by donating full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, deodorant and hand lotion. Other items included bars of soap, tooth brushes, toothpaste and shaving cream and razors. Several residents donated coloring books, crayons, puzzles, activity books and games for use in entertainment bags.

The donated items were assembled at The Ridge Apartments, located in West Jordan, Utah, were Cowboy Pledge volunteers from several Cowboy Properties apartment communities had fun sorting and packing the items in bags that were furnished by Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald House Charities was very grateful for all of the donated items and expressed their appreciation to everyone who donated items and to the volunteers who sorted and packed them.
