Volunteers gathered at the Freedom Shrine behind Bridgeside Landing apartments to see what we could to do clean it up a little during the crisp evening of September 24th. We handed out gloves and grabbers and began picking up bags of trash, broken glass, food wrappers, cigarette butts and beverage cans. We worked together and kept at it until we had 8 big contractor bags and 3- thirteen gallon kitchen bags filled with debris. There is always work to be done along this beautiful stretch of landscape, but we feel that we made a big difference and we'll return next year and gladly do it all again. We appreciate all the help we had from Bridgeside Landing residents. The love and respect you have for you community is very impressive. We hope to see each of you again next year.
If you are interested in being a volunteer for next years Jordan Parkway clean up at Freedom Shrine or any other Cowboy Pledge event, please contact us and we will keep you up to date in all our up coming plans.
