Helping Hands for Safe Harbor Women's Shelter

The Davis County Safe Harbor Crisis Center, located in Kaysville Utah, has an ongoing mission to help women and children who need help overcoming difficult circumstances. They provide temporary housing and support and counseling for many individuals and families throughout the year. In support of this effort, Cowboy Pledge sponsored a drive in December of 2014 to collect baby care items, infant clothing and maintenance supplies for the center.

Each resident of the Cowboy Properties apartment communities located along the Wasatch Front received a flyer inviting them to participate. The response from residents and the property management staff was impressive and included enough items to almost fill a pickup truck. One resident donated over 200 small size personal care items

Other donations included cases of diapers, baby wipes, baby toys, bottles, new clothing and other baby care essentials. Residents also donated individually packaged snacks and treats. Housekeeping supplies, cleaning supplies and paper products were also donated to help the center maintain their facilities.

The Safe Harbor Crisis Center was very grateful to receive the donations and asked Cowboy Properties and Cowboy Pledge to express their thanks to all of the residents and staff members who participated. Each item will help someone in need..
