Cowboy Pledge spring clothing drive for the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake City

Cowboy Pledge and the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake offer their thanks to everyone who participated in the April 2013 clothing drive for the benefit of the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake. Donations of new and clean usable clothing were collected from 16 apartment communities along the Wasatch Front and in Heber City and Park City, Utah. These clothing donations enabled Cowboy Pledge to deliver over 575 items of men's and women's clothing to the Rescue Mission. Donations included over 200 men's shirts and t-shirts and 37 pairs of pants including jeans and dress pants. Other donations included socks, coats, jackets and multiple pairs of men's shorts. There were also over 130 women's clothing items.

These clothing donations provide a way for men and women in need, to come to the Rescue Mission and take a shower and have clean clothing to change into.

Cowboy Pledge would also like to thank the staff of Bridgeside Landing Apartments for all of their help and for letting Cowboy Pledge volunteers use their newly decorated clubhouse to sort and repack the donations. The volunteers came from several Cowboy Properties communities and include residents and staff members. They enjoyed working together to sort, pack and label the clothing for delivery to the Rescue Mission.

At the conclusion of this fun activity, Cowboy Pledge provided the volunteers with refreshments and a drawing for great prizes. Thanks again for your support of Cowboy Pledge and please watch for our upcoming events and activities.
