Backpacks and School Supplies Drive

On August 13, we met at Harmony Gardens Senior Apartments and began sorting all the items that were donated for the back to school drive. We were quickly impressed by the volume of items donated as it added up be 1,366 in all. We sorted items such as notebooks, pencil sets, erasers and crayon packs in to specific categories and filled 200 book bags. The bags were then delivered, in groups of 25 to each of the following schools around the valley.

Lincoln Elementary, SLC
Oquirrh Elementary, West Jordan
Plymouth Elementary, Taylorsville
South Clearfield Elementary, Clearfield
James Madison Elementary, Ogden
